The Model E includes M.2 modules of 3 types B, E, M and a PCIE 2.0 packet switch :

  • Type M 2230 is reserved for SSD.
  • Type B will be used preferably for cellular communication but can be use also more SSD or advanced positionning.
  • Type E includes a 2-lane PCIE to take full advantage of TPU performance but can be used also for Cellular IoT or advanced positionning.

The Model M includes M.2 modules of 2 types: 1xE and 2xM and a PCIE 3.0 packet switch to take full advantage of SSD performance and the new CM5 and Hailo10H products.

  • Type M 2230 is reserved for an SSD

Ethernet, WIFI/BT, TMP2.0, Serials, CANbus, DAQ, µSD, nanoSIM are included by default
– An AI M.2 Module is very simple to add or upgrade by yourself later, check the size and type of M.2, E or M

– Matter/Zigbee and LoRa/SigFox chips are soldered on PCB and can only be added to by an electronics technician. But a LoRa module can be added on the M.2 Type E slot if you don’t have TPU on this slot.
– The M.2 SSD and 4G+GNSS (RTK) uFL to SMA cables, are not very accessible, as it requires disassembly and reassembly of the PCB in a small enclosure, change the thermal pad, so it’s best to specify the LTE option and size and endurance of the SSD when ordering.

This product can be sold for prototyping or in volume, board only and can be tailored to your needs (RAM, eMMC, SSD Size/endurance, Cellular type and region, LPWAN type and region, AI, GNSS…). We can also provide the cables and antennas.
